First load pulls in the whole 3D world, so give it a few seconds.
Drive real trains on real lines, from a Shinkansen to the Flying Scotsman, with everyone else on the same railway.
Pick a line, then tap the train you want: a Shinkansen out of Tokyo, an Azuma or the Flying Scotsman out of King's Cross, a Rhaetian loco climbing the Albula spirals, a pair of big diesels on the Tehachapi Loop, or a Bakerloo tube train under London. Every train starts cold and dark, and you bring it to life the way its driver would: battery, cab key, pantograph and circuit breaker, or the fuel pump and engine start, or for a steam engine, building the fire and making the vacuum. Each country has its own signals and safety systems, so you learn AWS and the driver's vigilance on the East Coast and ATC on the Shinkansen. Then you drive: watch the limits, stop at the right board, open the doors on the platform side, take the siding when the signaller sends you in, and stop at the stop signs. Everyone driving the same line shares the railway, and their trains run on the same track. Turn on Challenge and you might get called in when a train runs away or gets stolen: catch it, couple on and bring it to a stand. Easy mode gives younger drivers one GO / STOP lever and gets the train ready for them.
